See to Believe or Believe to see ?

There is a well-known phrase “see to believe”, have you ever wondered if this is true, or is it just a phrase that we take for granted, because we have heard it too many times throughout our lives?

I have been thinking about it and conclude that I do not agree; our brain establishes the rules based on our beliefs, paradigms dictated by our past experiences, and that is what determines our actions, results and what we are capable of achieving. If it is true, that our thoughts determine what we are, how much do they also dictate our emotions and in consequence our motivation to do what we need to do to achieve our objectives? In this context, is it more suitable to use the phrase “see to believe”? Or do we first need to believe that it is possible, act, focus, make adjustments, and be perseverant until we see it crystalized in results?

For this reason, I consider “believe to see”, based on the belief that EVERYTHING is possible if you really believe it, if you are ready to act and accomplish it regardless of the obstacles; is then when you will have everything you need to achieve your dreams, as Henry Ford once said well: “Whether you think you can, or you think you can’t, you’re right”.

Days ago I read a definition of success that I found very interesting and resounded in my being:

“Success is peace of mind attained only through self-satisfaction in knowing you made the effort to do the best of which you’re capable”– John Wooden, Basketball Coach (1910-2010)

Authentically believing that everything is possible and being ready to give the best of ourselves at any moment, gives a new dimension to the concept of success. Am I giving my maximum potential every day? Do I believe I am capable of overcoming any challenge? Am I ready to pay with my time, passion, flexibility, engagement, and effort to attain what I set for myself? If the answer is YES to the three questions, CONGRATULATIONS!

You are in the right path, and you are really building the life you love. If the answer is no to any of them… you know exactly what to do to live a full life: “believe to see” and remember that you rent your success, you don’t buy it, so every single day you need to pay your fee.
